E-Learning and Enhanced Enrichment Programme 2009

(FAQs – For Sec 1 to 3 Students) 

    Q1. Do I need to go to school on the day(s) which I am not scheduled to attend any enrichment modules?

    You are only required to come to school on the days when you are scheduled to attend the Type 1 and Type 2 modules. On the day(s) when you are not scheduled for any module, you are to stay at home during the official school hours to complete your e-Learning modules and your revision. Work is expected to be handed in by the deadlines stipulated for each subject.

    [All pupils will attend 1 Type 1 and 1 Type 2 Modules. The only exceptions are those assigned to do Stanford Writing Programme, module 6208 or module 6209] 

    Q2. If I have no computers at home, can I go to school to do my e-learning?

    • Computer Lab 4 will be open on 19 & 22 May (8.00 am to 1.30 pm)
    • Computer Lab 3 will be open on 19 & 22 May (1.30 pm to 5.00 pm) and on 20 & 21 May (3.15 pm to 5.00 pm). You may also use the computers in the Library.

 

    Q3. On days which I have to go to school, do I observe school hours?

      You report to school at the assigned venue, 15 minutes before the start time of your module. You may go home after the module ends for the day.  

    Q4. If I forget my assigned modules, where can I get the information?

      Information on your assigned modules is available at the online enhanced enrichment programme portal. Information will also be posted at the notice board, below the spiral staircase near the Science Lab.  

    Q5. If I am unwell and unable to attend my modules, what should I do?

      If you are unwell, your parents/guardian will have to call to notify the school of your absence at least 30 minutes before the start of your module. The number to call is 62527966. Give your name, class and module you were to attend that day. 

    Q6. Do I wear my school uniform or PE attire during this period?

      All students are to wear their PE attire (NO class or CCA T-shirts) during this period of the E-Learning and Enrichment Programme. School rules to be observed. 

    Q7. What do I do if I have problem accessing my e-learning modules?

      Refer to our school website for instructions and information on how to access help. 

    Q8. Do I need to attend CCA on these four days?

      All CCAs will be suspended on these four days. 

    Q9. What other things do I need to bring?

      You will need to bring:

    • Stationery and writing material
    • your personal Oral Digital Thermometer (ODT)
    • any material/tools/electronic device etc as required by the module. E.g camera for module 6115 (Intro to Film Making).

 

    Q10. Will the Canteen be open?

      Yes the canteen will be open on these four days.
